With Brian Warren and Florent Ipananga as their guides, the Kilimanjaro trekkers all summited on the extremely quiet and beautiful Umbwe route. Here are photographs from their climb with more to follow after their safari, which begins today.

Word in from Kilimanjaro! All in the Faller group have summited via the Umbwe Route and are back down in Millenium Camp. Tomorrow, they will descend roughly 5 hours to the gate then head back to Arusha for a little wash and celebration before heading out on safari for a few days. Hopefully, we'll get some details and photos in the next couple days. Congrats to all!

The Kili team climbed Lava Tower today on the Umbwe Route and are now back at their Lava Tower camp playing lots of cards. Tomorrow, they're off to the Arrow Glacier and then they're planning a 1am departure the following day for their summit bid. They are all taking good care of themselves so that they're strong and rested for the big day!

The Kili team is hanging out at Barranco Camp after a good day hike for acclimatization. Everyone is psyched and feeling strong and ready to continue up the mountain tomorrow to Lava Tower.

Alpenglow's second Kili team of the summer is at Camp 1 on the Umbwe Route with Brian Warren as their guide. They have settled in for dinner after a 4.5 hour day of hiking through the mist of the jungle. They should pop out of the clouds tomorrow as they continue ascending. They have a strenuous day ahead of them, but they'll be well rested and will have plenty of time to reach the Barranco Camp...
