Eight out of nine team members summited Ama Dablam in conditions so perfect that they were able to spend an hour taking photos on the sunny, windless peak. Good decisions were made by all during their 15 hour day from Camp 2.7 to the summit and back down to Camp I. Back in Basecamp, the temperatures plummeted to -20F, so the team began their walk down to Namche this morning. They will plan on being in Lukkla on the 9th and Kathmandu on the 10th. We will hear more details from them in the next couple of days and get to see some of those beautiful summit photos!
