The French Alps this February can best be described by these two words - couloirs and sun. Due to big snows in December and January followed by two weeks of high pressure - the conditions have been perfect for skiing big committing lines that often do not get skied until April.
It actually feels a lot like April here - we are touring in t-shirts and lots of sunscreen, trying to time our descents...
