Nine helicopter loads delivered the Manaslu expedition team safely to Samagaon today. The members enjoyed incredible views during their flight to this small village at the base of the mountain. Of course life before 3 months away got busy enough I never posted the below blog. Now I'm in Hong Kong on a long layover on the way to Kathmandu. At the end of a very successful Peru season for Alpenglow and our clients, Jaime and Gordon were, unfortunately, faced with a difficult decision about their summit bid on Huascaran.
