11 (6 members, 5 Sherpa) stood on the summit of Ama on 11/11/11!
They stopped at 2.7 on their descent to hydrate and give an update, and we'll be hearing more soon from either C1 or BC.

Just letting all the blog followers know that everyone is back down in BC. Some descended from summit to BC, while a few others rested overnight at camp and made it down this morning (Nov 12). They are all eating a big breakfast now and beginning a much-deserved celebration! The members will hike out to Namche tomorrow (Nov 13) where they will likely send us more detailed reports and photos. Stay...

Just a quick update an a few pics! The summit team has made it to Camp 2.7, where it is "perfect" with no wind and amazing views. The plan is to leave their tents at 4am for their summit bid. The cell signal is in and out, so we'll hopefully get more info from up on the mountain, but might not hear until they're back down.
