Steak Tomorrow!

The team is back in basecamp (Plaza de Mulas) enjoying Cokes and homemade pizza from our local cook. Last night was cold and windy at high camp so the group was especially excited to get down. They timed their summit perfectly on the last calm day before big winds came to Aconcagua. The walk all the way to basecamp was a long one with heavy packs, so the team is enjoying the good food and comfortable camp. Tomorrow, they plan to get moving early and hike all the way out. They will be eating steak in Mendoza by tomorrow night!
